My friend Jandi invited me and my family for a trip to Camp Fuji for skiing and sledding. There are 6 or 8 families that she invited on this trip. In my part, I don't slide or slide to any water slide big or small. I have phobia of something but I ride roller coaster which is more intense and I find it weird.
We left at Yokusoka base around 5PM Friday January 16, 2009. We ended up of waiting for Tom Murphy because he had a meeting but then we were just fine left a little bit late just to beat the traffic. There were 4 cars in convoy. I just don't have any idea how far was this Camp fuji but then my friend and I were talking of visiting Fuji Q highland for a day trip. So, I figured it is not that far.
We got there around 8PM and Jandi was so nice enough to prepare us a nori-something food for dinner and so while we were driving, we were munching our dinner too. It is a rice with some slice meat in it cook with some yummy sauce which I don't know. Benjamin as usual, he did not it but I brought lunchables for him and Mary wanted to share brother's meal.
Ok-I will talk about Camp Fuji. This is a military camp facilities where they trained their newbies armies. It is owned of course by the American and there are some part in the mountain that you are prohibited because it is considered as a war zone(training ground). And we stayed to one of their barracks but they used this barracks for a guests for military families that come over. They are located at the foot of Mt. Fuji and if ever this volcano erupt then in seconds this camp will be no more. But I am hoping that there is nothing like that to happen in the future.
The mountain is so nice and it is shape like a cone. In the morning, I asked my husband to have a photos because the sky is so clear and no clouds serves as barrier in my eyes.
